Shay Conrad, Jillian Cooper, Josh Filsinger, Seth Gregory, Jordan Jackson, and Devon Pyrz from Troy Holiness School competed in the Ozark Regional Student Convention in Springfield. Also attending were Mr. Keith Schaper (school principal) and parent sponsors Brian and Gina Cooper, Kim Gregory, and Janet Jackson.
The convention proved to be a challenging, inspirational, and fun-filled destination where the students demonstrated their God-given gifts and talents. The evening rallies were uplifting and pertinent to current issues facing young people today. There were over 130 events in the categories of music, speech/drama, athletics, arts and academics. Competing with 40 other schools and nearly 300 participants, the THS students placed in nearly every category they entered.

Troy Holiness School placed third in overall athletics. Those placing in the Top 6 of a category received a medal. Those placing in the Top three of a category are eligible to compete in the International Student Convention this summer.
Student Convention is just one program of the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum that is utilized by Troy Holiness School (a ministry of the Bible Holiness Church). Appreciation goes to Bodine Aluminum who sponsored the travel expenses with other costs covered by student fundraisers.
A.C.E. maintains high Biblical and academic standards and is committed to setting children on a path for success. The goal is to prepare children for the world today and give them the academic and spiritual tools necessary to achieve their God-given potential.
