Troy Buchanan took Francis Howell North in two sets (25-22, 25-8). Tuesday.

“The girls really came out and played hard, winning the mental battle in the second game over a quality North team that took us to three sets earlier in the season,” said Troy Coach Lane  Cox.

Kill leaders were; Courtney Huff (5), Riley Stephens (5), Logan Mennemeyer (4), and Baylie Carroll (4).

“Severing was a strong area for us,” said Cox.

Riley Stephens tagged four Ace serves and Katelyn Cherry with another two.

“Our focus in practice this last week has been scoring points off a serve, which we struggled with early season,” said Cox adding the girls were able to do exactly that during the match.

Senior Courtney Huff, daughter of Paul and Caroline Huff, set a new school record with kills. She now has 635 for her career.
