A St. Peters couple were injured in a two-car collision in Lincoln County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The collision occurred Aug. 12 on Highway 79 south of Highway 47. Time of the accident was 2:30 p.m.
According to the report, a 2008 Ford 150 driven by Bryan Fisher, 20, of Moscow Mills, was northbound on Highway 79 in a left turn lane and a 2003 Chevrolet S10 driven by Steven Brent,50, of St. Peters, was southbound. Fisher failed to yield to Brent, and began to make a left turn when the vehicles collided.
Brent and a passenger, Kimberly Brent, 52, were injured and transported by ambulance to SSM St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis. Their injuries were listed as moderate and serious respectively. All were in their seat belts at the time of the accident.
An Elsberry woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday (Aug. 15) on Highway 61 north of Route KK. Time of the accident was 4:20 p.m.
According to the Patrol statement, 2005 Chevrolet Equinox driven b Doris Wyble, 80, of Elsberry, struck the back of a trailer of a 2015 Kenworth T6 driven by Tonerial Powell, 58, of St. Louis. The Equinox began skidding, and overturned, and came to rest in the median of the highway on its roof. Neither were in their seat belts at the time of the accident.
Wyble was transported by Air Evac to SSM St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles. Her injuries were listed as moderate.
