Wade Lovelace Sr., 65, of Old Monroe, formerly of Panama City, Fla., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at his home.
Wade was born on March 1,1947, in Elsberry, to Sidney and Elsie ( Beck) Lovelace. He attended the local schools and served in the U.S. Army. Wade was blessed with four children: Corey, Wade, Tracy and Jennifer. Wade enjoyed listening to country music, fishing, hunting and working with horses. He and his wife Tina were members of the AQHA.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Lovelace of Old Monroe; two sons Corey Lovelace and wife, Rebecca, of Warrenton, Wade ( Emilie) Lovelace Jr and wife, Emilie, of Troy: two daughters Tracy White and husband, Tim, of Florissant, Jennifer Lindsey and husband, Craig, of Troy; one step-son, Russell Davis of Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Linda ( Nick) Reynolds and husband, Nick, of Sebring, Fla.; twelve beloved grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 from 3 until 8 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Funeral services for Ernest Junior Slaughter, age 73, of Whiteside, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. James Skinner, pastor of Silex Assembly of God Church in Silex will officiate.
Mr. Slaughter passed away Friday morning, Nov. 8, 2012 at his home in Whiteside.
Born Feb. 24, 1939, in Portageville, he was the son of Ernest Henry and Minnie Novelle Matheny Slaughter. He was united in marriage on May 3, 1958, in Whiteside to Eloise Zumwalt. This union was blessed with three children: Laura Denise, Patricia Lynn and Chadford Wayne.
He worked for many years as an auto worker for General Motors in Wentzville, retiring Feb. 1, 1993. Mr. Slaughter was a member of the United Auto Workers Local #2250 in St. Louis. He was a member of Silex Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Eloise Slaughter of Whiteside; two daughters: Laura Denise Weatherford and her husband, Mark, of Frankford, and Patricia Lynn Slaughter, of Whiteside; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He also leaves three brothers: Cecil Slaughter of Milan, Tenn., Don Slaughter and his wife, Virginia, and Calvin Slaughter and his wife, Wanda, all of Elsberry; two sisters: Betty Momphard and her husband Raymond “Pistol”, and Jean Hardy, all of Elsberry; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.

Ruthann Wilmes, 75, of Troy, passed away Nov. 8, 2012, at Troy Manor, 200 Thompson Drive in Troy.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at the Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Flint Hill. Interment will be held at the church cemetery.
She was a retired desk clerk for Best Western.
