Glenda Barley was selected as the queen of the Lincoln County Youth Fair.

Gerald Albert Wehde, aviation structural mechanic third class, from Old Monroe, was among those listed who died in explosion and fire aboard the aircraft carrier Forrestal off the cost of Vietnam last Saturday.
He was the son of Mrs. Helen Wehde and the late Dick Wehde.

Lincoln County voters approved a $300,000 bond issue to finance an addition to Lincoln County Memorial Hospital
