William Edwin “Bill” England, 76, of Louisiana, Mo., formerly of Lincoln County, passed away Dec. 7, 2012, after a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 23, 1936, he was the son of William and Kathryn England.
Bill as he was known by all, was a carpenter and fisherman by trade. He loved gardening and hunting.
Survivors include three sons: William England, III and his wife, Fonda, of Indiana, Mark England and his wife, Patty, of St. Charles County and Paul of Warren County; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He also leaves four sisters: Melba Trennephol and her husband, Richard, Ann Bartoskiewicz and her husband, Raymond, Betty McClellan and her husband, Jerry and Judy Housewright and her husband, Michael, all of Lincoln County; and eight nieces and nephews.
Per Bill’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded and services will be private. Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO served the family.

Barbara Ann Flake, 72, Warrenton, passed away Dec. 15, 2012 at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis.
Family received family and friends Dec. 18, 2012, from 3-8 p.m. at the Pitman Funeral Home, S. Hwy. 47 in Warrenton. Services will were held Dec. 19, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
She was a homemaker.
