The Wind Ridge Farmers’ Market at Eolia, Mo. launches at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 30 with its first chicks, eggs and spring greenery market. On the western edge of the old town of Eolia and adjacent to Scotty’s Market there the site is just off Hwy. 61. It represents a coming together of farmers and others in Pike, Lincoln and surrounding counties to bring produce, small stock, fine crafts and many other products to the town.
These farms come to life early in the spring producing everything from bedding plants to baby chicks to fancy table eggs with many shell hues. All are locally produced and keep with the traditions of this historically rich farming region. The market is open to all growers and country artisans.
Whether you need vegetable plants, Buff Orpington baby chicks or goats milk soap the Wind Ridge Market should be on your list of places to shop and support members of your local community.
