On Sept. 12, the Winfield FFA Chapter made an appearance at the annual Area 5 Leadership Conference. The conference was held at Bowling Green High School, where 411 FFA members from chapters in surrounding areas gathered to learn and work on leadership and other important skills. Remi Taylor, from the Winfield Chapter, is currently serving as the Area 5 President. Along with the other officers, Remi worked hard to plan and lead this conference. At this leadership event, the members worked together to learn how to bond and lead as a team. The 22 members from Winfield had a fun and memorable time learning, practicing, and growing.

Winfield FFA chapter officers planned and put on an initiation for the FFA greenhands at Winfield High School. A greenhand is a first year member in the organization. At the initiation, members gather to play games, learn about the organization, and meet new people in the group.
