Winfield host conference meet

Winfield High School athletes earning all-conference honors in track are pictured above, from left. Bobby Blount in the long Jump with a leap of 20 feet, 8.5 inches. Dalton Lefholz in discus with a new school record throw of 151 feet. Dalton also placed first in the shot put with a distance of 43 feet, 6.5 inches. Sage Wilder in both the 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Sage won with times of 16.78 in the 100 and 49.42 in the 300 hurdles.

Winfield hosted the conference track and field for the North Division in the Gateway Athletic Conference.
Winfield athletes placing first and being all-conference were:
Dalton Lefholz in discus with a new school Lefholz also placed first in the shot put with a distance of 43 ft. and 6.5 inches.
Sage Wilder in both the 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Sage won with in times of 16.78 in the 100 and 49.42 in the 300.
Bobby Blount in the long jump with a leap of 20 ft. and 8.5 inches.
Finishing third in the Boys 4×100 relay team of Clark Rogers, Dillon Dildine, Lane Moody and Bobby Blount in a time of 45.79.
In the junior varsity portion of the meet, the Warriors had the following medalist.
First place were:
Will Killingham in the 110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles and 100 meter dash; Zach Perkins, shot put and Reese McGlasson in girls discus.
The boys 4×100 meter relay team of Coby Davidson, Will Killingham, Taylor Hunter, and Zach Perkins.
Second Place finisher was Coby Davidson in pole vault
The boys 4×800 meter relay team finished third. The team was comprised by Gunner Schutte, Logan Schroeder, Taylor Hunter and Tyler Lawson.
