Charles J. Anderson “Junior”, of Troy, MO, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Viola L. Anderson; cherished son of the late Bessie and Charles F. Anderson; devoted father of Robert C. Anderson, James E. (Cynthia) Anderson, Debra L. (Lance) Meyerpeter, Donna K. (Dennis) Banden, and Michael Scott (Sally) Anderson; loving grandfather of Lance Jr., Cheryl, Jennifer, Lee, Derek, Christopher, Amy, Molly, and Chloe; dear brother of Mary Bernice, Shirley Dean, and the late John Harold; treasured great grandfather and great-great grandfather; brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
 Charles was a devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene in Wright City, MO as well as the VFW Post # 8828 in Troy, MO. He proudly and honorably served in the United States Army 6th Ranger Battalion during WWII in the Philippines and Japan. Charles was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
