URSULA MARIE ORF

 Ursula Marie Orf of St. Paul passed away February 7, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born in St. Paul, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Vomund. She mar­ried her husband, Martin J. Orf, May 12, 1956. They celebrated 63 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2019. Ursula’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a longtime member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and a member of St. Monica’s Sodality of St. Theodore.
 In addition to her spiritual commitments, she was an avid quilter, a talented horseshoe pitcher, and an active member of the New Melle Horseshoe Club. Ursula found joy in flower and rose gardening, and she loved canning vegetables from her garden.
 She is survived by her three children; Virginia (Steve) M. Mueller of St. Paul, MO, Nancy (Jerry) E. Orf-Keith of York, PA, and Gerard (Jeanne) M. Orf of Wentzville, MO; brothers, Paul (Joan) Vomund and William “Bill” (Ruth) Vomund; sisters, Catherine Bauer, Sr. Michaeleen Vomund, and Lorraine “Bea” (David) Feldewerth; sister-in-law, Dorothy Vomund; six grandchildren, Denny, Diane (Tony), Dale (Molly), Nichol, Andrew, and Shelby; two great-grandchildren, Etta and Maxine; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
 Ursula is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth (Johanesmann) Vomund; her loving husband, Martin J. Orf; brothers, Henry Vomund and his wife Dorothy, Nicholas Vomund, Aloysius “Bud” Vomund and his wife Arcella, Joseph Vomund and his wife Patricia, and Charles Vomund and his wife Dorothy; sisters, Cecelia Luethemeyer and her hus­band Red, Mary Ann Kerpash and her husband Paul; brother-in-law, Robert Bauer; great-granddaughter, Isabella.
 Above all, Ursula adored her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
