James “Jamie” Daniel Adkins of Clarksburg, MO, formerly of Hawk Point, MO passed away on Satur­day, February 8th, 2025 at the age of 63. He was born in Washington, MO on August 5th, 1961 to Jerry and Vivian (Rattles) Adkins.
 Jamie served as a corrections officer for many years at Booneville and Tipton, MO.
 Jamie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet (Howard) Adkins, they were married on January 26, 1984 in Troy, MO.
 Jamie is also survived by one brother, David (Tona) Adkins, nephews David (Serrina) Adkins, Clifford Adkins Jr., nieces Stacey (Mark) Austin, Christina Richardson, great niece Lexus Richardson.
 Jamie was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Vivian Adkins, one son Joshua, one infant sister, sister Geraldine McMahan, brother Clifford Adkins, great niece Destiny Adkins and favorite uncle Leroy Adkins.
