Judith Mae Johnson

Judith Mae Johnson, 72, of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green.
Cremation rites are under the direction of Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory in Bowling Green. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Judith was born September 16, 1952, in St. Charles, Missouri to Ralph Vernon and Lois (Payne) Maynard. She grew up in the St. Charles and St. Louis areas. After spending some time in Silex, Judith has spent the last thirteen years living in Bowling Green.
After finishing school, Judith spent many years as a stay-at-home-mom, raising her two children. When her children were older, Judith went to work as a CNA and was employed with several local nursing homes.
Judith enjoyed spending her time cross-stitching, watching birds, and watching soap operas, especially “Days of Our Lives” and “The Young and The Restless”. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her cats. Judith also enjoyed coloring pictures.
Judith is survived by daughter, Angela Smith (Clint) of Bowling Green; grandchildren: Eric Byington (Amber), John Byington (Moreen), Eric Parton (Harley), Johnathon Henley, Tylor Locklin (Mykela), Cierra Parton, Cheyann Oshia, and Justin Byington (Katelyn); brother-in-law, Larry Smith; sister, Lois Ann Pudiwitr (Walter); special caregiver, Thelma “Tiny” Shy; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jennifer Byington; sister, Cathy Smith; and brothers, Bill Maynard, Bobby Maynard, and Michael Maynard.
