Roger dedicated himself to his work at Fanning/Sachs Drywall, eventually taking ownership and transforming it into Sachs Drywall, where he poured in years of hard work and commitment. Roger found joy in simple pleasures, including gardening, woodworking, and spending time outdoors. He cherished sharing these passions with his grandchildren, instilling in them the value of hard work and creativity. After retiring in June 2011, he enjoyed nurturing his property and “putzing around,” finding contentment in the little things life had to offer. Known for his kindness and reliability, Roger was the person many turned to when they needed help. He took immense pride in his family, always celebrating his children and grandchildren’s achievements. His love for his dogs and cats showed his gentle nature, while his strong faith in God provided him with strength and guidance, which he lovingly passed down to his family. Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
