 Marie Wanzalee Mudd, 78, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at her residence in Troy, Missouri. She was born on Septem­ber 19, 1946, in Louisiana, MO, the daughter of John Willis and Sammy P. (Oliver) Mudd.
 Marie graduated from Ursuline Academy in Arca­dia, Missouri and continued her education. She was primarily a homemaker and caring for her family was top priority. In her earlier years she worked as a home health care nurse. She attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Marie enjoyed listening to country music and sewing quilts and clothing. She was known for her crafts and liked to crochet and knit. Marie had a true passion for reading, anything she could get her hands on. She looked forward to watching the birds and squirrels, with her dog, Dixie.
 Marie is survived by her two daughters: Christine Tomschin (Steve) of Wright City, MO and Leslie Bufford (David Plotner) of Jefferson City, MO; one sister, Mary Agnes Logan; two grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
 Family and friends were received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service was at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Troy Chapel. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Alphonsus Cemetery or Palmer Library in Elsberry, MO, in care of Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel P.O. Box 222, Troy, MO 63379.
