TROY – Four exceptional seniors from Troy Buchanan High School were recognized during the school’s Senior Awards Night with the distinguished David W. McCoy Scholarship.

Each scholarship grant, valued at $32,000 over four years, supports students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

This year’s recipients are Wyatt Caldwell, Ryan Crawmer, Caden Finnern, and Korbin Wright. Caldwell and Finnern will attend Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla to study Engineering. Crawmer and Wright will attend the University of Missouri in Columbia, pursuing degrees in Engineering and Physics, respectively.

This year also marked a significant milestone for the scholarship program. A scholarship endowment fund agreement was established with the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, ensuring the David W. McCoy Scholarship will support future generations of students in perpetuity.
