TROY – A Troy resident was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of possession of child pornography.

Numerous members of law enforcement responded to a residence in the 200 block of Hickory Forest drive where a search warrant was executed.

A 45-year-old resident of the home was taken into custody and booked into the Lincoln County jail.

Formal charges have not been filed against the individual. Consequently, The Journal is withholding publication of his name until those charges are filed.
