Extension Council awards three scholarships

LINCOLN COUNTY – Three local students recently received scholarships sponsored by the Lincoln County Extension Council.
Lauralye Richardson received a $500 Lucille Heitman Scholarship. She has been active in 4-H for eleven years serving as Treasurer and song and game leader for her club. She has also been Outstanding 4-H’er many times.
Lauralye plans to attend St. Charles Community College and major in nursing. She is the daughter of Brian and Lauren Richardson of Troy.
Addison Kemper received a $500 Edgar I. Lanvermeier Scholarship and a $1,000 Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company Scholarship.
She has been active in both 4-H and FFA where she served as Treasurer receiving a chapter FFA award. Addison plans to attend the University of Missouri and major in agriculture. She is the daughter of Tim and Mende Kemper of Hawk Point.
Nina Momphard received a $500 Edgar I. Lanvermeier Scholarship and a $1,000 Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company Scholarship. She has been a member of FFA and 4-H where she served as secretary of her 4-H club.
Nina plans to attend the University of Missouri and major in agri-business management and hospitality management. She is the daughter of Doug and Margaret Momphard of Troy.
