Grazing school coming to Warren County Aug. 20-22

WARRENTON – The Warren & Lincoln County SWCDs, NRCS, and University of Missouri Extension are hosting a grazing school Aug. 20-22 at the Warren County Extension Center in Warrenton.

This school is limited to the first 25 participants and is an approved school for the DSP-3 cost share practice. The deadline to register is Aug. 13.

Goals of the class include increasing the plant diversity and quality of pasture and possibly increasing the number of cows per acre by focusing on rotational grazing.

Part of the registration is provided through a NRCS grant and lunch is sponsored by the Missouri Beef Council.
