We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025 at the age of 87, David H. Strong of Wentzville, MO passed away surrounded by family members. David was born in Torrington CT to Harley and Mary “Louise” Strong on May 15, 1938. David married Patricia (Pat) Strong July 17th, 1962. They moved from Tulsa, OK in 1963 to St. Charles, Missouri where he worked for Ozark and TWA airlines. He served in the Air Force for four years where he found his love for airplanes. Later they moved to Troy, MO where they made their home of over 50 years.
 David is survived by his wife of 63 years Patricia Strong, four daughters and one son. Lisa Pilkington and her husband Kim of Springfield, MO. Rhonda Pietzman and her husband John of Silex, MO. Teresa Hansell and her husband Kevin of Granville, OH. Debby Conner and her husband George of Battlefield, MO. Daniel Strong and wife Kristen of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Fourteen grandchildren: Evan Pilkington, Spencer Pilkington, Jansen Pilkington, Taylor Pilkington, Conner Pilkington, David Pietzman, James Pietzman, Rachel Pietzman, Joey Pietzman, Nathan Hansell, Jessica Hansell, Kristina Hansell, George Conner IV and Henry Conner. He and Pat were blessed with 23 great grandchildren. Dave leaves one brother Robert Strong and his wife Shirley.
 We will have a private Celebration of Life later in September. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice. David chose to donate his body to science for research.
