The family would provide the music and would sing all over the state spreading the gospel and changing lives for the Kingdom of God. Bill had farms in Lincoln County, Pettis County, Sullivan County, and Grundy County through his life, where he enjoyed raising pigs, cattle and row crops.
Bill taught American History, Sociology, Psychology, Economics and World History at LaPlata High School, South Shelby and Knox County high school. He also wrote many curriculums for the local schools, as well as counseled students throughout his career. He was a high school principal at LaPlata, Concordia and Delta, before retiring.
Bill enjoyed many activities such as golfing, bowling, singing with the family and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He was an avid reader and has read all of the books in his library more than once, which is down to about 3,000 books to date.
