Boone Center Incorporated hosted a groundbreaking ceremony last Friday for their new production facility. All of the BCI employees participated as well as special guests including Doug Tracy and Chris Ryan from Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, State Representative Doyle Justus, Moscow Mills Mayor Lisa Meyer, local philanthropists Ralph & Alice Coose and Doug Steinmeyer, County Commissioner Mike Mueller, and others. BCI opened at this location (245 College Campus Dr.) in 2011 and purchased the building in April of this year. The 10,000 sq. ft. expansion project will allow them to hire more individuals with disabilities and have more storage space for inbound and outbound packaging work.
