EDITOR’S NOTE: Here are the candidate profiles for Stacy Knoche and Danielle Rockwell, candidates for Elsberry Ward Three Alderman.

Name: Stacy Knoche

Family: married with one adult child

Education: associate degree in paralegal studies

Professional Experience: I have worked in customer service, warehouse, management and pet grooming.

Why should voters elect you to the Elsberry Board of Aldermen? I feel that there are changes that need to be made and that the people are not being heard.

What would your goals be as a Elsberry Alderman? To be a voice for the people. To try to make more positive changes for the town. To get a police force in that will listen to the people, take their complaints seriously, stop the speeding and drugs and follow up on reports.

Lincoln County is experiencing unprecedented growth. What can Elsberry do better to prepare for that expanding population? Continue bringing in new businesses, repair the roads and get a better police force to handle any problems that may arise.

Danielle Rockwell

Family: Husband Brent, five kids Henry, Audrey, Clara, Tyler and Carli

Education: Masters in Education-University of Missouri-Columbia

  1. Why should voters elect you to the Elsberry Board of Aldermen? I hope the voters reelect me to continue my dedication to our community. As an educator in Elsberry I bring a unique platform to the board that not only supports the community of Elsberry but that of our school community, too.
  2. What would your goals be as a Elsberry Alderman? Some goals I have as an alderman is to support our community through the new treatment facility that has been on the making for about 10 years. Additionally I hope to strengthen our police force with strength and numbers. Finally, I would like to create a better environment for communication and support between the aldermen and the community.
  3. Lincoln County is experiencing unprecedented growth. What can Elsberry do better to prepare for that expanding population? I believe our community is already prepared for the unprecedented growth in Lincoln County. We have at least two new subdivisions going up and we have a great committee with the Elsberry Community Growth Association. I believe Elsberry has a lot to look forward to in the near future.
