Mr. Benjamin Frank Spraul, 93, of Moscow Mills, MO passed away Saturday evening, September 27, 2025 at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry, MO. Born December 20, 1931 in St. Genevieve, MO, he was the son of Banjamin Frank and Sophie Eakenlaub Spraul, Sr. Ben was united in marriage on April 29, 1960 in St. Louis, MO to Minnie Jewel Wood. This union was blessed with one daughter, Janice, joining Ben’s children: Larry and Deborah. Ben worked as a metal cutter for Wolston Tubing, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed gardening, carpenter work and fishing.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Sophie Spraul, Sr.; one brother, Charles Spraul; two sisters: Mary Jokerst and Norvella Spraul; and his beloved wife of 55 years, Minnie Spraul, who died on August 7, 2015.
 Survivors include his children: Janice Dowell and her significant other, Timothy Henricks, of Moscow Mills, MO, Larry Spraul of St. Charles, MO and Deborah Reed and her husband, Mike, of Elsberry; ten grandchildren: Venny Dowell, Jr., Christopher Dowell and his wife, Crystal, April Stone and her husband, Matthew, Jennifer Wilson and her husband, Bryan, Christine Ross, Lena Woodson, Tiffany Carnahan and her husband Dayne, Denise Bishop, Amanda Spraul and Tison Spraul; and many great-grandchildren. Ben also leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until the time of Memorial Services at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO.
