Gov. Mike Kehoe has officially launched Show-Me America 250, Missouri’s year-long celebration leading up to the nation’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026.
Missouri Lawmakers Pass School Cell Phone Ban
A bill passed by the state legislature Tuesday and on its way to the governor will require school districts to create a policy banning cell phone usage throughout the school day, including during breaks between classes and at lunch.
Lincoln County 4-H Members Participate in 4-H Day at the Capitol
Jefferson City – Eleven 4-H members and two volunteers from Lincoln County joined nearly 900 Missouri 4-H participants at the State Capitol March 26 for 4-H Day at the Capitol. This event provided youth with the opportunity to engage in civic leadership, meet state legislators, and advocate for Missouri 4-H.

JEFFERSON CITY – Lincoln county leaders recently met with state officials in Jefferson City to discuss the importance of funding substance use prevention efforts.
